Save the date for the next Basket Auction, held at St. Charles Borromeo Church to benefit Family Promise.

Tickets are $15 and include desserts, coffee, tea, and cold beverages. There will be sandwiches and soda to purchase. Doors open at 5PM and the auction begins at 6PM.

Come and support our ministry to homeless children and their families and enjoy a great night out!

The Company Store Buy One Give One

We are thrilled that The Company Store has partnered with Family Promise to donate down comforters to homeless children being served by the program! For every comforter that they sell in January, they donate one to Family Promise. Check out the Buy One Give One page for details.

Taste of South Jersey Hits the Spot

The sell out crowd in the ballroom at Adelphia’s Lounge in Deptford on Monday, November 15, 2011, had all come to support Family Promise at our 4th annual Fall fundraiser, Taste of South Jersey. What they found was a beautiful space, filled with the aroma of delectable food, and the buzz of friends coming together for a worthy cause. Check out some pictures of the evening.

Pampered Chef Fundraiser October 20

Make sure to bring an friend, and to RSVP so everyone can be accommodated!

We’ll taste a delicious recipe, try tools that make kitchen tasks easier, and learn entertaining and cooking tips – all while supporting a great cause! We’ll raise funds two ways:

1. Donation of up to 15% of the fundraiser’s total sales
2. $3 contribution for each Show booked from my fundraiser

Please let me know if you can make it. Mark the date on your calendar and ask a friend or two to come along!

Please note in addition to the 15% of guest sales donated by The Pampered Chef, our consultant Helaine is donating an additional 10% of sales – for a total of 25% for Family Promise!

Taste of South Jersey, November 14, 2011

Family Promise of Gloucester County is hosting their annual Fall fundraiser, “A Taste of South Jersey.” The event will be held at Adelphia Restaurant and Lounge, 1750 Clements Bridge Road, Deptford, NJ on Monday, November 14, 2011 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. Tickets are $25 purchased before the event, and $35 at the door if there are tickets available. All proceeds benefit Family Promise of Gloucester County. Adelphia will host a cash bar from 4:30 to 5:30 PM prior to the beginning of the event.

Come enjoy good food, and great people all working for a better tomorrow for the children of Gloucester County.

We are still waiting on the official tally from Friendly’s but it was wonderful to see so many friends and their families enjoying dinner and a tasty treat. Riversharks Fundraiser a Hit

Thanks to all those who came out to the Camden Riversharks game on Wednesday, August 31 in support of Family Promise. We sold thirty-seven tickets for a total of $185 proceeds! Although the Riversharks fell behind early in a 7-5 loss to the Lancaster Barnstormers, a joyous time was had by all. Finley, the Riversharks mascot, was available for photo opportunities and distributed t-shirts in the most exciting way possible, the t-shirt gun! We were so proud to see Board Members, Coordinators, volunteers, and staff come out to enjoy a night of family fun. A big thanks to those who joined us, and to the Camden Riversharks for extending to us this fundraising opportunity!

Riversharks Fundraiser!

BINGO! Our Fundraiser Gets Rave Reviews!

The Coach Bingo that was held at The Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit on Saturday night, April 2 was a great night in so many ways. We packed the hall with bingo players all trying to win a beautiful Coach bag to show off to their friends. More importantly, everyone had fun, and all in support of our worthy mission of helping homeless children and their families. Check back soon for pictures of the evening.
