Family Promise, an Interfaith Hospitality Network with local and national connections. When did Family Promise Gloucester County start? The Family Promise - Interfaith Hospitality Network of Gloucester County Network opened its doors on December 18, 2005. The first guest family entered the Network on December 19, 2005. Since then, FP-IHN has served many meals, assisted many families, and welcomed many volunteers. The journey to open the Gloucester County Newtork began long before December of 2005. Three years prior, a group of concerned community members formed the Network , with guidance from the National Family Promise Office, and worked hard to raise operating funds. Because of the dedication of the volunteers, Family Promise - Interfaith Hospitality Network of Gloucester County will only continue to grow and provide homeless families with a chance to regain stability.
