While congregations of all faiths are involved in the overnight sheltering and feeding of families, IHN is a private, non-profit organization with no religious obligations to its participants. It does focus on the religious community because congregations have a vital role in every community. People of all faiths, as well as other community members, have shown a willingness to assist those in need.
Host congregations provide families with a place to stay, home-cooked meals and a compassionate heart.
